Similar to our Mini Hockey exercise but adding teamwork to the equation. How to work together with the coach, with the parent or more challenging with a teammate. Great to count the goals, swap hands and work together to keep getting better. The teamwork elements adds a special layer to this exercise.

WHY

Overall coordination and skill development

WHEN

REPS

Teamwork is such an important component of group activities. When it is with a coach development is fostered on watching and learning. Looking up to the coach and trying to really do their best. With a parent it needs to be fun and continue playing with their parents not having their parents act as a ‘coach’. Teammate practise adds an additional layer that requires more processing, communication and racket and ball control. You can use this exercise whenever you like but as always remember to keep the line of excitement and boredom in mind.
